Latest news on the QSL handling (as of September 14, 2000):

All in all there are 129,346 QSOs in the database.

Part I: QSOs from October 1998 thru June 1999
There were 2,500 direct QSL requests.

(1). All direct QSL requests have been answered now. There is no more backlog.
(2). Every other callsign has automatically received a QSL card via Buro (sent out in Sept./Oct. 1999).
(3). Number (2) does not apply to callsigns starting with the letters K, N, R, S, U, W, X, Y, Z.
Those have been added to "Part II" (see below), but will be sent out automatically.

Part II: QSOs from September thru December 1999
There were more than 3,000 direct QSL requests.

(1). All direct QSL requests have been answered now. There is no more backlog.
(2). Right now we are making and sending out the buro QSL cards left over from "Part I" (see above).
(3). Next step will be ANSWERING buro requests for "Part II".
Please note that we do no longer automatically send out QSL cards - that was the case only in "Part I".

What to do?

If you have sent a direct QSL request, with SAE (self addressed envelope) and postage (USD, IRC, or stamps), and you have not yet received your card by now, you should email us ( cn8ww@boc.de ). We can see in our database, if your letter has ever arrived here. If yes, we will send another letter on our expenses. If no, we will inform you and you should send again. The address is: Bernd Och, DL6FBL, Chr.-Wirth-Str. 18, D-36043 Fulda, Germany.

If you have NOT YET applied for your CN8WW or 5C8M card:
* If you want your card DIRECT, send your letter to the address above.
* If you want your card VIA BURO, simply send an email ( cn8ww@boc.de ) with the QSO data. We will reply via buro.

As mentioned many times before: CN8WW is a "100% QSL" activity.
But please give us the time we need to handle your requests properly!
