Today *FINALLY* we got our
Internet connectivity running. There were problems with the
telephone line before, which got solved by Maroc Telecom today.
Once the telephone was working, it took no time to get access.
We used a Standard Pentium PC with LINUX operating system and a
28.8 modem. The PC was equipped with an Ethernet card and was
connected to our internal network. Installed was DL6RAI's CLX
software, so we were running our own packet cluster on site...
Spots came in via TELNET from the DB0MDX node in Germany. The
LINUX PC also worked as a Gateway, so from TODAY on we
were able to email and upload pictures and stories. Sorry for
Overview of the high band antennas. 20, 15 and 10 meter towers.
Most high band antennas are in place (10-40), 80 meters is ready,
160 still missing, Beverage antennas still missing.
Fisher boats in the morning usually predict good antenna weather.
