The 1998 CN8WW QSL card

The picture shows the location of CN8WW in CQ WPX 1999 SSB. With the help of the local Radio Amateurs CN8LI, CN8NK, CN8OO and CN8OR the German team of DJ9MH, DL1MFL and DL6FBL managed to pile up 56M points and set a new WORLD RECORD in the Multi/Multi class with just three radios... In the picture you can see a 30m high mobile tower, which hosted two Cushcraft 10-4CD monobanders for 28 MHz and a Tennadyne LP-6, which was used on 14 MHz in the contest and on the WARC bands before and after. This tower was brought to Morocco for the later use in the CQ WW DX Contests SSB + CW 1999.
