The 1999 CN8WW QSL card

The picture shows the view to Europe from the hilltop some 50 meters sharp above the ocean. You can see a Cushcraft 40-2CD 2-ele Beam for 40 meters, which was used for high-angle propagation to short distances such as Southern Europe at daylight time. The red building down on the beach is the Hotel, which hosted our operation in CQ Worldwide DX Contest 1999 (SSB+CW). Hospitality was great, whenever one of the personnel saw one of our group, they would call out "CQ, CQ" :-) We will return to the same place this year. Please work us again for a new picture QSL card.
