CQ WPX Contest SSB 1999
Panoramic View

View from the operating site (from West over North to East):

Left end = West;
USA = over water; behind the left vertical (Titanex V160E; used on 3,5MHz during and on 1,8MHz after the contest); DL1MFL working at the feed point
The next metallic pole is carrying the Cushcraft 4-ele-Monobander for 21MHz (only 9m high).
North = approx. the Mobile Tower (carrying the rotary Tennadyne LP6 LogPeriodic on top [@30m, used for 14MHz in the contest and WARC bands outside the contest] and the 28MHz 4-ele-Cushcraft Monobanders @21m (fixed to Europe/Japan) and @16m (fixed to the U.S.).
If you concentrate, you can also see our impressive 7MHz antenna very close to the left side of the mobile tower. It is a simple fishing rod 11m long with some radials lying on the sandy beach... We had first planned to install a 2-ele-Yagi for 7MHz, which was stored on site, but there were some important parts missing...
Europe/JA = over water; left of the buildings on the right side.
Right end = almost East;
